Mr. Constantinides is a multi-disciplined Compliance Consultant/ Internal Auditor and Executive in the Financial Services Industry having an in-depth expertise in the Financial Markets, Regulatory Compliance matters and the practical application of legislation in the Financial Services Industry in Cyprus, the European Union and internationally. He carries substantial experience and professionalism forged for more than 15 years, having worked in investment firms, then in one of the most highly regarded Financial Services Consulting firms in Cyprus where he eventually held the position of Head of Internal Audit for 5 years. He was the appointed/ outsourced Internal Auditor in numerous Regulated Entities including some of the largest CIFs in Cyprus, whereby he spearheaded the audit teams and was auditing, consulting and appraising a huge and diverse array of entities regulated by CySEC or CBC. Being considered a subject matter expert in the compliance/ audit field he also performed several Extraordinary/ Adhoc Internal Audits and Investigations in Regulated Entities in the capacity of an Independent Expert, following CySEC’s or Clients’ mandate.
His latest role was that of an Executive Director in one of the largest and most innovative Forex/CFDs and multi asset broker CIF in Cyprus where apart from his managerial roles in the CIF and the Group he was also acting as the Group Compliance/ AML Executive, being responsible predominantly for all Compliance and AML operations of the Company and of the expanded Group – a Group listed in Frankfurt stock Exchange that held multiple operating licenses from reputable jurisdiction such as Cyprus, Seychelles, Mauritius, South Africa, Abu Dhabi, a Crypto Asset Service Provider license, a Banking as a Service/ Payments Services provider/ Card Distributor license, etc.
Andreas holds a BSc & MSc in Applied Mathematics and Physical Science from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) Greece, an MSc in Information Systems from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE), Advanced and AML Certificates from CySEC and he is a member of the Cyprus Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
